Romley, senior author and research assistant professor at U.S.C., “These amenities may be important drivers of clinical outcomes and, more broadly, satisfaction with care.” Romley further assessed, “the happiness and joy that these amenities provide for patients over the course of what is otherwise a difficult experience is something we should respect.”
